Located just off of Main Street, the town park is named for William Barry Owen, who in 1899 purchased the rights to Thomas Edison's Victor Talking Machine, which came to be known as the Victrola. After his death in 1914, his widow donated the land for the park. The park includes a town beach and is the site of town band concerts.
