A 600-acre reservation on the South Shore, Long Point encompasses beach, dune, and woodland, which bracket a broad (and uncommon) sandplain heath. Maintained by the Trustees of Reservation, Long Point is a popular swimming destination in the summer and attracts birders and other nature-watchers all year long.
