Pathways weekly Writing & Poetry Series continues with a featured reader, followed by Open Floor Readings for all writers and poets, led by Ron Slate.

This week's featured writer is local author, James Jennings, who reads in-person from his new book, Wings of Red, described as, "An inventive and stylish debut written by a Black educator, Wings of Red is a  clear-eyed, funny, imperfect, and observant work of autofiction that grapples with the absurdity of the New York City educational system as a substitute teacher—that, in the end, reads as an ode to the city itself."

Doors open from 7 p.m. Readings from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
