David Rivard: Author of seven books of poetry, recipient of PEN/New England Prize in poetry, the James Laughlin Prize from the Academy of American Poets, and the Agnes Lynch Starrett Poetry Prize. He has received fellowships & grants from the Guggenheim Foundation, the NEA, the Civitella Ranieri Foundation, among others.

When a "snitch" accuses a homeless man of the murder of a Bronx police officer, lives are disrupted, and justice is fleeting for all persons involved. Mr Semel has worked and studied in the Criminal Justice System in New York City.
