Watercolor on the Lagoon: Introduction to Washes, Bleeds, and Blooms

In conjunction with the closing of the exhibition She Speaks with the Ocean, join artist Marion Wilson aboard her studio houseboat located in Lagoon Pond across from the museum. Marion will teach an introduction to specific watercolor techniques, including washes, bleeds, and blooms. This workshop encourages seeing and drawing slowly, and students will be joined by special guest Danielle Ewart, Tisbury shellfish constable. Prior experience in painting is not necessary. 

Registration fee includes all supplies, but students may bring their own. The class will include demonstrations and group discussions.

Class will take place on Marion’s houseboat located in Lagoon Pond at 100 Lagoon Pond Road, Vineyard Haven. Parking will be available at the museum.
