A favorite for years now is our “Water Week” with Sassafras co-founder David Vanderhoop. This week we explore streams and pond habitat, explore shores, go fishing, crabbing, find shellfish, learn about edibles along the shoreline and play water games. This summer we balance time along the coast and in the full sun, with summer and water fun in our base camp’s shaded woodlands.
