About this Event
Join us for the sixth lecture in our monthly series on African Art. This month's topic is Masquerade: A Multimedia Art Form. More than just a decoration on the wall, African masks are a multimedia art form that can include both head and body, and are often presented in the context of movement and sound.
Presenter Jean Borgatti is Consulting Curator for African, Oceanic, and Native American Art at the Fitchburg Art Museum. Sponsored by the Friends of the Vineyard Haven Library, the Groton Public Library Endowment Trust and other public libraries throughout New England.
Recording note: This program will be recorded. All registrants will receive the recording via email within 48 hours of the program. More details in registration link.
