Virtual: The Trustees of Reservations Beach Management Plan Public Meeting

The Trustees of Reservations is hosting a public meeting for its forward-thinking Beach Management Plan, facilitated by The Consensus Building Institute. The intent is to provide an overview of the Beach Management Stakeholder Working Group, update the public on our new approach to management and listen to public’s feedback.

The public meeting will occur on Wednesday, May 3 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm. Please register at thetrustees.org/bmp.

This meeting will be focused only on the forward-thinking BMP and will not cover issues related to our OSV permitting, notice of intent, or orders of conditions for the summer of 2023.

The public is encouraged to view and listen to recorded meetings, meeting summaries, public question and answers for the Martha’s Vineyard Beach Management Plan Working Group at thetrustees.org/bmp.

The Trustees is committed to creating a beach management plan through a collaborative process with the community, which is why we are working with the Consensus Building Institute. We are confident that this will create a productive and inclusive process for drafting a BMP that will successfully preserve the wildlife and natural ecosystem while providing access for the public to visit and enjoy their favorite activities on the beaches.
