T-shirt Event to Support Pro-Choice

T-Shirt Project: The time has come to live our values out loud-once again! We are organizing a t-shirt making and installation that will center reproductive rights for all women and is in response and protest to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

We will have everything needed to write your message in support of reproductive rights on a T-shirt that will be hung on a clothesline in the church’s front yard.  We ask you to bring a T-shirt, old or new, different sizes and colors preferred! You can turn an old T-shirt inside out also!

The coat hanger serves as a symbol of the reproductive rights movement and a reminder of the gruesome pre-Roe era. Unfortunately, it will now serve as a reminder of the post-Roe era. 

Drop in at Stevens Chapel, 238 Main Street in Vineyard Haven.  You may also make one at home and drop it off at the church. No profanity or graphic language, please.
