Menemsha fishing village is known for its iconic sunsets, but did you know you can see the same beautiful sky from Menemsha Hills? Join a Trustees guide for a hike of Menemsha Hills, leading down to the beach to enjoy a relaxing swim and all the colors the sky has to offer. Learn about the glaciation that formed the rocky landscape of Menemsha Hills, and visit the second highest piece of land on Martha's Vineyard.
The hike will be approximately 2.5 miles over rocky and uneven ground. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before tour is set to start. Participants should bring: headlamp, sturdy walking shoes, season-appropriate clothing, bug spray, swimsuit/towel (if swimming), and water/snack. For participants aged 16+. Participants swim at their own risk; no lifeguard on duty. Low enrollment or inclement weather will cancel.
