A tutorial on the process of sourdough for home baker Whitney Cleary. We'll cover the basics of mixing, proofing, shaping and baking as well as a guide to maintaining your own sourdough starter. Open to bakers at any level. Please bring a sterile mason jar for your starter.
Ms. Cleary is the head yeast baker at Morning Glory Farm but also enjoys the special challenges and rewards of home baking. She's been baking professionally for seven years and specializes in naturally leavened breads.
