Seed Collection Day

Hosted by the MV Community Seed Library Group. Our seed giveaway last spring was so successful that the seed cabinet is now empty. Please visit us to “return” the seeds you borrowed and/or add your own local saved vegetable, flower and fruit seeds to this special collection. Stop by the porch-side of the West Tisbury Library to enter your seeds into the cabinet. Seed saving experts will be available to help you label your seeds and answer any seed questions. Please help us grow and develop locally adapted varieties for our seed cabinet, and share in the joy of producing locally grown food. No sign up is required to attend. Masks are mandatory, and please observe social distancing. Participants are encouraged to fill out seed labels in advance, but this is not required. Printable seed labels are available at http://westtisburylibrary.org/seed-library/, and pre-printed seed labels are available to be picked up anytime during curbside hours on the West Tisbury Library front porch.
