Pete McCauley and Tim Cheesebrow are a duo from the Twin Cities, MN, bringing old tunes to life and having a great time doing it.
Pete "Mac" McCauley, (vocals, mandolin, guitar,) has played in numerous bands over the years. A founding member and the original guitarist for the rock trio Eddie Mac, he has spent a few years traveling the country, earned a record contract with SPV Records in Germany, and released two albums with the independent label Mud Hut Records. He also writes music for the Hounds of Finn. The pair met a few years back and asked if they should learn some pub tunes and make some noise together.
Tim "Cheese" Cheesebrow (guitar, vocals, occasional mandolin and pennywhistle): is primarily a singer/songwriter. He' s got 6 or so albums under his belt, several tours and an extensive solo performance career. He's always had a spot in his heart for traditional Irish and American folk songs, and jumped at a chance to play this music with Pete. He's the founder of Discover Music, a non-profit that teaches kids to write songs as a healthy mode of self discovery and expression, and is the author of "Songwriting for Wellness: Using Music to Heal the Mind."
