Literary Edgartown Walking Tour

Discover Edgartown’s literary heritage from Herman Melville and Frederick Douglass to Oompa Loompas and a big red dog in a two-hour walking tour hosted by Vineyard Trust. Together we will visit historic sites and architectural gems that both inspired and housed artists, writers, and orators of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Tickets may be purchased the day of the tour and can be acquired at The Carnegie.

Tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited to only nine participants, so we recommend parties arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled starting time to purchase tickets or contact melissa@mvpreservation.org to reserve your ticket in advance.

Please note: To reduce the spread of COVID-19, all tour participants must wear a face covering for the duration of the tour.
