Hosted at Slough Farm in partnership with the Ag Society, this workshop will be led by Dr. Erin Masur, a doctor of veterinary medicine. Her caseload is focused on camelids, sheep, goats, poultry and cattle. Currently practicing in Connecticut, she also owns and operates Fork You Farms, a pasture-based livestock farm.
In this one day workshop, she will be covering: DIY fecal workshop; deworming basics; holistic parasite management (pasture rotation and soil conservation); basic first aid; and biosecurity (transmissible diseases and ectoparasites). The talk will focus on sheep and goats, but poultry and cattle raisers are welcome to attend.
