The library's annual foreign policy reading and discussion group begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 and will meet weekly for a total of eight sessions. Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. In advance of each meeting, participants read one article and watch a 30-minute video on a particular topic that has been chosen by a panel of foreign policy experts. Limited to 25 participants. Registration required. The dates and topics for 2025 are:

Thursday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m.: American Foreign Policy at a Crossroads, in-person/via Zoom.

Thursday, Feb. 13at 6 p.m.: U.S. Changing Leadership of the World, in-person/via Zoom

Thursday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m: U.S.-China Relations, in-person & via Zoom

Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m: India: Between China, the West, & the Global South, in-person/via Zoom

Thursday, March 6 at 6 p.m: International Cooperation on Climate Change, via Zoom

Thursday, March 13 at 6 p.m: The Future of NATO and European Security, via Zoom

Thursday, March 20 at 6 p.m: AI and American National Security, via Zoom

Thursday, March 27 at 6 p.m: American Foreign Policy in the Middle East: Taking Stock and Looking Ahead, via Zoom
