Gay Head 10K Road Race

This USATF-certified 10K (6.2 miles) road race is held each year to support the restoration of the recently relocated Gay Head Lighthouse. Run from under the famed lighthouse’s beam, down State Road through lovely, rolling hills, to Moshup Trail, along the scenic, dune-filled coast, and back to the lighthouse.

And be sure to stick around after you run for the Award Ceremony and our famous After the Race Feast, with delicious food supplied by local Aquinnah merchants! In addition, all runners are invited to tour the lighthouse for free on the day of the race.
