Film Screening: In the Company of Rose

The Martha's Vineyard Film Festival presents a special screening of a new documentary, In the Company of Rose. The 7 p.m. screening will be preceded by a 6 p.m. dinner with film subject Rose Styron and director James Lapine, both of whom will also join a discussion after the screening. 

At 92, poet, journalist, and human rights activist Rose Styron is still a singular force. In this in-depth and personal new documentary shot on the Vineyard by award-winning writer and director James Lapine, Ms. Styron shares stories of her incredible life—from times with her family and late husband Bill, the celebrated writer, to her seat at the table during international diplomatic negotiations.
