Photographer Bruce Mathews focuses on themes from the natural world, searching for the same abstract values that informed his previous work as a commercial photographer. In his floral series, he often treats his subjects as still-life objects more akin to pressed flowers than to those rooted in a garden. Read more about the exhibit here.
