A live, online 4-week course.
In this beginning class you will become familiar with Microsoft Excel, how to modify cells, rows, and columns, and formatting.
You will learn how to create formulas, manage workbooks, and page layout and printing options. As time allows, we may cover functions, chart creation, and additional topics.
This class applies to all versions of Microsoft Excel since 2010 for both Windows and Macintosh. Experience using personal computers is strongly recommended.
Instructor Howard Loewinger has been working with computers since the days of the Commodore PET. He has worked as a programmer and database administrator, and as a systems and user support specialist, primarily in higher education. He was the technology coordinator of a school district for 15 years. Since retiring from that position in 2010, he has taught IT courses at a community college and for adult education programs.
