Establishing an evening wellness routine will help prepare your mind, body and spirit for a restful sleep where you will wake feeling refreshed, recharged and ready for your day ahead.
We will begin the workshop with a discussion of sleep and it’s importance to our health. I will create a peaceful ambiance to alert our bodies that we are ready to slow down and prepare for deep rest. I will provide golden hot chocolate that I have created to soothe, calm and nourish the body while I walk you through prompted journaling to release residual thoughts held in your mind from the days activities. I will then offer you several yin poses that are non-impact and restorative with an emphasis on stillness and relaxation. This will lead into yoga nidra/yoga sleep, a guided meditation using breath work and visualization to bring you into your deepest state of conscious relaxation possible.
