In their final group appearance, Island artist Elizabeth Whelan will display twelve portraits from her popular Artist in Art show at Stina Sayre Design in Vineyard Haven beginning September 1 through the Labor Day Weekend. A "Meet the Artist Reception" will be held during First Fridays Vineyard Haven.
 

During the original show in July, Ms. Whelan unveiled portraits she had painted of twenty-two local painters and illustrators every 15 minutes. Each of her portraits captures the Vineyard artists unique style and approach to their artistry.

Ms. Whelan will showcase her portraits of Marjorie Mason, Max Decker, John Holladay, Jack Yuen, Deborah T. Colter, Colin Ruel, Mary-Louise Rouff, Terry Crimmen, Kenneth Vincent, Harry Seymour, Elizabeth Taft and Traeger di Pietro during the four-day event.
