Come learn about electric ferries. Speakers from Denmark, Maine and Washington State will share details from the electrification of their fleet. The SSA and Eversource will talk about the possibilities for our community. Transportation is one of the largest contributors to carbon emissions, and on the Vineyard, ferries make up a significant portion of that transportation impact.
Please come in person to show the Steamship Authority that transitioning to electric ferries is important. If you cannot attend in person, Zoom is an option. To learn more, see the full event flyer here. Sign up early so we can organize the numbers for lunch!
Parking is scarce. Carpool or park elsewhere and walk down to the Film Center if at all possible.
The event is being held simultaneously in Falmouth in the Library’s Hermann Room. Light refreshments will be served in Falmouth.
