Parents and caregivers — please join IWYC/MV Family Resource Center and the MV Youth Task Force for Changing Minds: Stories over Stigma, featuring a professionally-trained young adult speaker. Kelly will share her story of resilience in the face of countless challenges: childhood abuse, illness, lack of support, bullying, depression, and more. Kelly’s journey is one of hope and healing that every parent and caregiver can learn from. Suicide prevention and mental health information will be provided, as well as a light dinner and raffle to win a Steamship Authority Gift Card.
