
The Carnegie Heritage Center’s Historic Tour is a 60-minute guided walking tour of Edgartown. Learn about the Island’s rich maritime history– from the nineteenth century to the present – as told through the lens of Vineyard Preservation Trust’s historic landmarks and other important sites along Edgartown Harbor.
The tour starts and ends at The Carnegie (58 North Water Street), winding through the harbor and main streets of Edgartown inviting guests to experience a host of historic properties closed to the general public. Stay and enjoy the dynamic “Living Landmark’ exhibit, the reading library and the heritage shop.
