Botanical Spotlight Tour: Maples at the Arboretum

Join PHA seasonal gardener Lysbeth Abrams for a Botanical Spotlight Tour highlighting the many maples and other plants in the maple family at the arboretum. From the feathery leaves of tranquil Japanese maples to the interesting, exfoliating bark of the paperbark maple tree, this is a vibrant plant family beyond the classic New England red maple. 

Botanical Spotlight Tours run the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, June through September, 2 to 3 p.m. Registration is required. Tours are free with $5 admission/free for members.

Learn more about the arboretum and its plant collections on guided walks led by knowledgeable staff and docents. These specialized tours are designed to offer an in-depth experience, each focusing on a different aspect of the Arboretum. Meet at the Visitor Center.
