Anna Swanson, flower manager at Slip Away Farm and special projects manager at the Ag Society, will lead this workshop on backyard garden planning. Anna will discuss maintenance and harvest strategies for common crops and describe ways to optimize a small space based on sunlight and nutrient needs, crop rotation, etc. The class will then have a chance to plan their own garden plots!
Whether you are a long-time gardener trying to optimize your garden this season or a first-time grower unsure where to start, this workshop is for you!
