In Sept. 2022, Polly Hill Arboretum participated in a conifer-focused seed expedition to the Pacific Northwest. Colleagues from four public gardens wove through the conifer-rich forests of Oregon and northern California, from the sub-alpine slopes of Mt. Hood National Forest to the serpentine soils of the Klamath-Siskiyou Mountains. Join PHA Curator/Assistant Director Emily Ellingson on this virtual seed collection journey through the mountains and learn about some of the plants and places of the Pacific Northwest.
