A Service to Remember and Honor Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. & Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel

A Friday night Shabbat Service to honor Dr. King and Rabbi Heschel (who "prayed with his feet" by joining Dr. King in marches and demonstrations). Led by Rabbi Caryn Broitman. Guest speaker Rev. Mariama White-Hammond  of the Boston Bethel AME Church will address us on a topic of current interest related to Dr. King's work and legacy, and to this week's Torah reading which includes the crossing of the Red Sea in Exodus. Eric Johnson will provide guitar accompaniment to the singing. An Oneg Shabbat (refreshments) will follow the service.
