The Aquinnah Wampanoag Indian Museum is housed in a historic Wampanoag family homestead and has been open to the public since 2006. The museum is operated by the the Aquinnah Cultural Center, Inc., an independent non-profit organization whose mission is to “preserve, interpret and document the Aquinnah Wampanoag self-defined history, culture and contributions, past, present, and future.”
