Edgartown Public Library

Edgartown's red brick Carnegie Library was built in 1904 thanks to gifts from steel magnate Andrew Carnegie and Edgartown resident Caroline F. Warren. Expanded several times, the library now occupies about than 6,800 square feet and holds close to 40,000 items.

After 112 years the library officially locked its doors and moved to its new location, next to the Edgartown School, in March 2015.
